... Contes et légendes de la Suisse héroïque ...

This book is a collection of folk tales, historical accounts, over and shaped by Reynold. Published in 1914, it is part of the folklore tradition of romantic, with extra special touches - the mark of the author - that is to combine a strong presence of the historiographical reference to an equally strong work formal development. The result, was a sort of poetic vision of history, of Antiquity, even the dawn of humanity in modern times. We are in Switzerland, of course, but we are also in Roman times, in the lives of saints, in the forests of medieval, in the wars of the Renaissance and the Reformation - in short, and Europe.

Short stories, the exotic legends and ancient times : the radius literature, a charming little book and cheap.
