Zéphyrin Legros is a young man who dreams of becoming a marathon champion. Since no one can tell him about his past, he makes the choice to write his future. On the steep paths of intensive training, several times he goes astray. But he is ready to do anything to succeed, really everything. Someday, he goes too far... Four meters, this is now the distance he will have to try to cross at the age of eighty, the distance between the chair he is sitting on and the toilet door in his room at the retirement home. 12,109, this is the number of verses of The Odyssey, the epic tale of Homer, fragments of which we hear throughout the show.
