Do you know the mine sprite, also named the old boy ? This mischievous character whispered an unusual story in our ears : the slates of Dorénaz would be the best in the world... That's enough to tickle our curiosity and send us in search of the old people of the village, of their memories and witness material of this not so distant past !

It was enough to meet fine connoisseurs who guided us to create an exhibition, the first part of which is entitled : "Slates in the country beyond the Rhône"
