Between story and musical tale, the story of Marcel Nuss, hero of his life and civil rights, told by Frédéric Naud and Jeanne Videau

Saturday 29 April at 6:00 p.m., the Paroles association is pleased to invite you to the show Marcel No, a splendid ode to life carried by Frédéric Naud and Jeanne Videau. Both freely tell the story of Jill and Marcel Nuss, and through her, question normative representations of love and sexuality. This musical story questions the freedom of all to enjoy sexual rights in the face of each person's visible and/or invisible obstacles – and to dream of new possibilities..

It all started on a Saturday evening, in the grotesque world of a television show, where appearance is king. Victor Branck, star presenter, welcomes Marcel Nuss, with a multi-disability, for him to talk about his latest work : "I want to make love”. Marcel Nuss, the body twisted by illness, is completely paralyzed except for the eyes, the mouth, two fingers and sex. Next to him, Jill, his wife, thirty years his junior, lights up the whole board. Together, they campaign for sexual support for people with disabilities.

Author-storyteller since 1993, Frédéric Naud told alone or in duo. Jeanne Videau, stunning play partner, on vocals and accordion, knows how to magnify the story with a simple look, with an incongruous pout, with a slap word, a diva’s song or a papal organ tune. To tell the story of the life of a man forced to live with the support of others, together they develop a dreamlike and fantastic universe sculpted by light, sound and voice.

Little by little moving the fragmented limits of the spectacle towards the space of celebration and rediscovered power, their story is based on the great archetypes to invent a new offbeat mythology of love, libertarian and liberating.

A side stage with Marcel Nuss is planned by videoconference if his health allows it.
