28th edition! From 1989, each year, traditionally the second Friday of November (and during the weekend), “The Tale of the Night in Switzerland” is a national event,
proposed by the Swiss Institute for Youth and Media in cooperation with Switzerland and Bibliomedia & rsquo; UNICEF, parrainé par l’Office fédéral de la Culture (OFC)
is available in all language regions of Switzerland where many places and partners have events: all night, conteries, Workshops are few & rsquo; more than one 700 Events open to the public or private.

THE THEME
“Tieni per te le tue paure, ma condividi con gli altri il tuo coraggio”, so he had to tell the Scottish novelist Robert l. Stevenson author of & rsquo; unforgettable novel “L’isola del tesoro”, a literary classic in which the courage to do much to master. But courage is not only facing epic adventures, it is also a human virtue with which we all have to do in the course of our lives and that we use in everyday tasks. Large or small doses of courage are required in a thousand situations when, eg, We face extreme sports, when we fought in telling or not an inconvenient truth, when we have to confront and denounce acts of bullying, when we close a d & rsquo; love or friendship, quando dobbiamo superare paure come quelle di volare, del vuoto o del buio. Ci sono forme di coraggio che possiamo definire “morali”, quando confrontati con la vergogna o lo scandalo, e forme di coraggio “fisiche”, quando confrontati con il dolore fisico o con prove dure da superare. In ogni attimo della nostra vita una particella di coraggio c’è richiesta per effettuare determinate azioni a favore nostro o degli altri. Quella del coraggio è dunque una grande virtù; una virtù che con la “Notte del racconto” 2017 vorremmo esaltare e portare al centro dell’attenzione grazie alle mille narrazioni che contengono atti di coraggio eclatanti o, semplicemente, small acts of heroism as unobtrusive as those that lead to forgiveness; forgiveness, as Gandhi says, It is the quality of the brave not a coward.

A national theme and common date chosen to organize this festival, including the official poster, distributed free to all participants, is the materialization. Cultural diversity expressed through the organizational freedom left by the project. Each site develops itself, with storytellers region, cette fête de l’oralité.”
