... 1er Août à Chillon ...
August 1st, the castle invites you to party with music.
Sing it “Swiss canticle” or listen to “Cow Rank”, it is on the program for the feast of August 1st. Time one afternoon, the chatelains invite with great pomp the young and old, in honor of the national day. Adorned with Swiss colors, the interior courtyards will be a real ode to the gules coat of arms with the silver bored cross.
During these celebrations, yodeling and alphorns will liven up the party. The Bärgezue choir and the En Moille-Saulaz group will delight your ears and maybe even your heart and soul. Lyobâââ!
To note that, at 11:30, a guided tour of a character in costume is organized before the festivities. He will make you discover the castle by showing you the inventions discovered in the Middle Ages, like fireplaces, pasta or even forks.
At 3.30 p.m., the guided tour in good company will also be possible.
