Das klassische Puppentheater Japans
Das aussergewöhnliche und berühmte Puppentheater Japans, Bunraku, kommt zum allerersten Mal in die Schweiz. Dieses traditionsreiche und kunstvolle Theater entwickelte sich im Verlauf des 17. Jahrhunderts in Kyoto/Osaka und erlebte seinen künstlerischen Höhepunkt in der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts. Since then, Bunraku is one of the three great classical theater forms of Japan – neben Nō und Kabuki – and thrilled with his exciting stories and almost life-size dolls, each led by three men. Drei Geschichten werden von Rezitatoren vorgetragen, musical accompaniment from the traditional shamisen (japanische Laute):
– "The miracle" off "Tsubosaka Kannon Reigenki»
– "Fox fire inside garden" off "Honcho Nijūshikō»
– "Ferry dock" off "Hidakagawa Iriai Zakura»
