Archived Night of the story 2012, that achieved great success with over 134 participating resorts and the involvement of 12’000 boys, the organizers are preparing to promote the new edition for the 2013.

“COS’È LA NOTTE DEL RACCONTO?

The night of the story was set up in 1991 an initiative of the Swiss Media and Youth. The Bibliomedia has been working with the institute nell'organizzaione and dissemination of the event.

The night of the story is based on a simple concept and yet brilliant: recount, read out, throughout Switzerland, the same night. Why children and adults can enjoy a moment of particular, full of mysterious charm of listening. Il ritorno ad un’antica tradizione per re-inventare un modello di comunicazione oggi in disuso eppure più importante che mai.Oltre al naturale piacere della narrazione, vi è anche quello di unire più generazioni con un evento festoso. Raccontare, read out, ascoltare, … azioni che acquistano un valore speciale e prezioso nel nostro tempo dedito all’immagine, alla velocità, alla frammentarietà, alla disgregazione, all’impazienza.

La Notte del racconto in Svizzera assumere quindi un’importanza e un fascino molto particolari. L’ascolto di una storia, lunga o corta, letta o raccontata non importa, è fondamentale per un’acquisizione piacevole di quelle competenze linguistiche che stanno alla base del saper leggere e dello scrivere.
