... Splash! StoryBath Time! / kamishibai session at BDFIL, Lausanne (CEO) ...

Le Musée des contes et récits invites you to a kamishibai session, storytelling art combining illustration and narration, heritage of a century-old tradition in Japan.

A suspended moment while running along the water, nursery rhymes and hikes will be told in images in a small wooden theater.

“Kamishibaï” is the story and literally means “theatrical paper game” in Japanese.. It is made up of illustrated plates, that Amina and Nathalie, kamishibaya-san (conteuses) of the association, practicing this art since 2003, will slide into the small wooden castle called butai. Once the three doors at the front of the theater are open, here you are, listener·ice·s dived·and·s in the story while the illustrations follow one another in front of you. The text, lu au verse, allows for animated storytelling, creating a magical and collective moment, ideal for reading and developing the imagination.

This session is designed specifically for children 6 months 3 years and a half. Of course, big brothers and big sisters are welcome·this is.
