Sitting together in the heart of a giant sunflower flower
and discover in each of the petals a book!
“Turnbooks” September to December 2022, every Friday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. until Christmas Eve! 😉
Turnbooks, it's a giant sunflower flower that like a little flying saucer for learning about the book, landed at the library of the Musée des contes which offers a reading workshop in French at the Espace Bel-Air neighborhood center.
Project designed by CREDE, in collaboration with ISJM and Bibliomedia.
We would like to thank CREDE for the exceptional provision of this facility for our readers and their families and accompanying persons..

” Le kamishibaï is a series of illustrated boards that we slide into a small wooden theater called butai. L’histoire est racontée au gré des illustrations que l’on fait défiler l’une après l’autre dans le castelet. The illustrations are large. C’est ainsi qu’il est possible de découvrir et partager les histoires à plusieurs. Une expérience ludique et passionnante, promotion de la richesse du patrimoine culturel et de la lecture.
This communication medium appeared almost a century ago, à la fin des années 20, dans les rues des villes du Japon. Il fut très prisé par des milliers de jeunes spectateurs qui se pressaient chaque jour, pour venir écouter le kamishibaya-san leur raconter, au coin des rues, la suite des récits, épisodes de ces premières séries illustrées. Today, le kamishibaï est présent dans de nombreux pays du monde.
